Who We Are

Elizabeth Savage is a trusted advisor and fierce advocate whose practice has a focus on appeals, civil litigation, and family law. She enjoys settlement negotiation and trial work, and is particularly passionate about appellate practice. Elizabeth serves as a pro tem judge in Washington County and as a court-appointed arbitrator in Multnomah County. She co-chairs the Oregon Trial Lawyers’ Amicus Committee and is a regular contributor to Trial Lawyer Magazine.

Prior to forming Elizabeth Savage Law, LLC, Elizabeth was a partner in Karmel Savage, PC. As a law student, Elizabeth served as judicial extern to the Honorable Rives Kistler and the Honorable Martha Walters, Justices of the Oregon Supreme Court. Elizabeth also served as a law clerk at the Oregon Department of Justice, Financial Fraud and Consumer Affairs Division, where she worked on a variety of cases ranging from prosecution of UTPA violations to class actions against major pharmaceutical companies.

Elizabeth Savage is an Oregon native. Before becoming a lawyer, she was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Cameroon, where she focused on AIDS education programs and women’s health and empowerment. Ms. Savage also worked as a high school English teacher in the Mississippi Delta and New Orleans, where she taught 9th-12th grade literature, as well as AP language and composition.
